Trust & Transparency

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of every visitor, donor and student who engages with Jamia Binoria Aalamia.

Last updated: January 2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what information Jamia Binoria Aalamia (“the Institution”, “we”, “our”) gathers when you use our websites and digital services, why we gather it, and the choices you have. By using our platforms you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to serve you well. This may include details you provide directly — such as your name, email address, postal address and phone number when you make a donation, sponsor a student, submit a fatwa request, or contact our offices. When you complete a contribution, payment is processed by your bank or a licensed payment provider; we do not store complete card or account credentials on our servers.

We also receive limited technical information automatically, including your browser type, device, approximate location and the pages you view. This helps us understand how our platforms are used and how they can be improved.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process and acknowledge donations, sponsorships and Zakat contributions.
  • To respond to enquiries, fatwa requests and admission or academic correspondence.
  • To issue receipts and maintain accurate records of charitable giving.
  • To send updates about the Institution’s work, projects and appeals — only where you have asked to receive them.
  • To protect our platforms against fraud, misuse and security threats.

Confidentiality of Fatwa & Counselling

Questions submitted to our Darul Ifta and matters shared with our counselling and arbitration services are treated with strict confidentiality. Personal identifiers are never published, and responses are shared only with the individual concerned unless explicit consent is given otherwise.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate — such as banks, payment processors and communication platforms — and only to the extent required to deliver the service you requested. We may disclose information where required by the law of Pakistan or to protect the rights and safety of our community.

Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. While no system can be guaranteed entirely secure, we continually review our practices to keep your data protected.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. You may also opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise any of these choices, please contact us using the details below.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The latest version will always be available on this page.
